Hotel Terrado Cavancha

It has a lovely view, a good location, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. It has parking (which sometimes fills up in the summer). I go there for work once a month and I like it quite a lot.

Incredible service, highly recommended, with an amazing view

Small room without a balcony, rusty bathroom fixtures with poor ventilation, dirty and stained hallway rug outside the room, worn and pilled bedding, and stained towels. Friendly staff except for the reception, who are rude at all times. The panoramic restaurant doesn't serve lunch and only operates as a pub. The pool area is small, accommodating approximately 12 people in total.

I booked the Valentine's Day 2026 package with high expectations, as it was my first experience with the Terrado chain. Although I'm from Iquique, I decided to experience it as a guest, but unfortunately, it ended up being a huge disappointment. From the start, I had a very unpleasant experience at the pool: a waiter unfairly accused me of using drugs, mistaking an oil vaporizer I had on the table for something else. He even mentioned he would call security. I decided not to escalate the issue so as not to ruin the moment, but it was a completely unwarranted accusation. Service: 1/5 The room was well-equipped, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. There was evident dust accumulation under the bed, reflecting incomplete hygiene. Hygiene: 3/5 The package included a four-course dinner. Upon arrival, the hostess couldn't find my reservation because it was registered under my middle name, which resulted in a 20-minute wait. Then, once seated at our table, we waited another 25 minutes without a single waiter even approaching to offer drinks. Finally, I had to alert the manager to get any service. Furthermore, the pool was clearly in a state of disrepair: tiles in poor condition, cloudy water due to lack of maintenance, and opaque glass in the infinity pool that obstructed the view. Dinner: 3/5 In short, the experience did not meet expectations and was not worth the price. Value for money: 2/5 I do not recommend it. I would not return. Thanks for reading.
