מלון Alba Caracas

Hotel Alba Caracas is the former Hilton Caracas, nationalised in 2010 and now run by the state tourism company. It is a large tower hotel in the Parque Central complex, and it's still one of the few big hotels in the city operating fairly regularly. It is listed here as a gay-friendly mainstream hotel. The 3.7 rating reflects how far service and maintenance have fallen since the Hilton years, so set your expectations accordingly. The draws are its central position, its security set-up and being near the Museo de Bellas Artes and the Teresa Carreño cultural complex. Check current security advice before travelling to Caracas, and arrange airport transfers in advance.
