Hotel Maracaibo Cumberland

Hotel Maracaibo Cumberland is a mainstream mid-range hotel on Calle 86A off Avenida Bella Vista in Maracaibo, part of the Venezuelan Cumberland chain. It is listed as gay-friendly, but it is not a gay venue. Rooms and suites are modest, breakfast is included, and there is a plain restaurant and a bar on site. The Google average is 3.7 across about 530 reviews, so expect dated rooms and uneven upkeep. Bella Vista is a central commercial area with restaurants nearby. Same-sex couples should keep a low profile in public, as Venezuela offers few legal protections. Confirm power and water backup with the hotel, since outages affect Zulia state.
