Equals Barbados

Equals Barbados is an LGBTQ+ rights organisation based in Bridgetown. It does advocacy and public education, offers community support, and is involved in Pride activities on the island. Barbados's High Court struck down the laws against consensual same-sex relations in December 2022. There is no public drop-in address in our data, so make contact through the website or social media. Barbados is still socially conservative, and most local LGBTQ+ life is private.
