Pride PEI

Pride PEI Inc. is the volunteer-run non-profit behind the PEI Pride Festival, the province's flagship LGBTQ+ celebration held each year in late July. The festival centres on Charlottetown and typically includes a Pride parade, the Rainbow Road street party on Kent Street, performances, and community gatherings that draw participants from across Atlantic Canada; the 2026 edition runs roughly July 24 to August 2, with the parade on Saturday, July 25. Beyond the festival, Pride PEI programs queer events throughout the year, such as the Queer AF comedy show and drag revues, and maintains a community calendar that is the best single place to see what is happening.
