Don't expect the same level of comfort, service, and amenities from a two-star hotel as you would at a four-star hotel. Everything in this area of ​​the city is predictable and appropriate for the price. I wasn't prepared for the $100 deposit. But nothing out of the ordinary here either. The hair dryer in the room burned out during my stay—they replaced it without any problem. The stairs are steep, but nothing too serious. Overall, I recommend this hotel!

Everything was fine so far. The room was clean and nice. However, we didn't get our €100 deposit back, even though the landlord said he would. We also sent an email and received no response. Normally, they would only charge or withhold the €100 if the room was untidy. That was absolutely not the case. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel!

Basic hotel. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No Elevator so you will be walking up and down stairs. Great location-around the corner from the Village and the Berri-UQAM Metro station

Very good location, everything is within walking distance. Nothing fancy but a clean standard room for a relatively reasonable price. Easy check in process. Only complaint is the shower's water pressure is very low.

Terrible experience. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The room was tiny, there is no elevator, and the customer service is useless.

Worst Hotel Ever – A Complete RIP-OFF We were supposed to stay at the Hotel Bon Accueil (August 22-24, 2025), and it was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. Upon arrival, we were asked for a $100 deposit, supposedly for damages. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed several serious problems: the bed was already broken and unusable, the adjustable air conditioning mentioned in the advertisement was nonexistent, and the overall condition of the room was appalling (dirty, hair in the bathroom, and clearly not cleaned). When we reported the situation and requested a refund, the receptionist unfairly accused us of breaking the bed, even going so far as to insult my friend about his weight, which is both offensive and discriminatory. Not only did they refuse any refund, but they also kept the $100 deposit. Their attitude was completely dishonest from beginning to end. The situation required police intervention, who confirmed that this establishment is already known for its questionable practices, even though the refund unfortunately has to be settled through civil proceedings. Despite our efforts with Booking.com, we have not received any refund. Unsanitary room, faulty equipment, misleading advertisement, disrespectful staff, and an unfair deposit: I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Absolutely avoid it!

Single-language service, no air conditioning in the tiny rooms, very dirty common areas, bathroom with old hair and stains from previous guests, no wardrobe, and NO ELEVATOR!!

I loved staying here. I think it’s in a perfect spot, everything I needed was walking distance and the rooms are fairly modern.
