Nanaimo Pride 2026

Nanaimo Pride is central Vancouver Island's annual 2SLGBTQ+ celebration, organised by the Nanaimo Pride Society. In 2026 Pride Week runs June 8-14, culminating in the Pride Parade on Sunday June 14 (from the Old City Quarter) and a free community festival at Maffeo Sutton Park on the downtown waterfront, with live entertainment, vendors, food and family programming. First held as a march in 1997, the event draws visitors from across the Island.
