AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI)

AIDS Vancouver Island — now AVI Health & Community Services — has supported Vancouver Island's LGBTQ+ and wider community since 1986. From its Victoria base it provides HIV and hepatitis C prevention, testing, harm-reduction services and peer support, and is a long-standing pillar of local queer health infrastructure. Services are welcoming and confidential; visitors can find current programmes and locations on the organisation's website.
