Pride on the Beach — Manuel Antonio

Pride on the Beach (Orgullo en la Playa) is Manuel Antonio's LGBTQ+ Pride, held in mid-July on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Unlike a city-street march, it centres on the beach: a parade along the sand at Playa Espadilla, pool parties, sunset sail parties and DJ nights at the town's gay venues. Parties spread across Drunken Monkey, APE and the gay-popular hotels (Villa Roca, Tico Tico Villas and others), drawing a mostly regional and North-American crowd to one of Central America's most gay-friendly resort towns. Dates shift slightly year to year around mid-July; confirm the exact weekend before booking.
