Red Lésbica Cattrachas

Red Lésbica Cattrachas is a lesbian-feminist organisation in Tegucigalpa, founded in 2000. It runs a national observatory that records killings of and violence against LGBTI people in Honduras, logging hundreds of deaths since 2009. It is also known for taking the Vicky Hernández case, over the 2009 killing of a trans woman, to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, which ruled against the Honduran state in 2021. It is an advocacy and documentation group, not a social space. Contact it through its website. LGBTI travellers in Honduras should be discreet in public.
