The only redeeming feature of the service is Guzman, a very attentive and fast waiter. The place is small, and perhaps that's the excuse for not providing chairs, which is a major drawback.

Nice crowd, music loud but not too loud and good atmosphere

We are in our early 60s (gym goers/lifters/eaters) and have identified as ‘bears’ and/or fans of bears for decades — lots of experience all over.. from gatherings, to bars in various countries. We (three of us) went on a Friday night (March 13th) — we got there at about 10.30 pm — there was no special event going on at the time and we all had to pay a cover. I host a very popular happy hour here in Washington DC. We don’t charge people a cover. We provide free pizza and discounted drinks and lots of good cheer and conversation, along with a diverse crowd. At least on this night, we got none of these. We stayed for as long as we could, which is to say not that long. We didn’t find it particularly ‘beary’. It was mostly young people with facial hair — overall, no matter what you like, it wasn’t a particularly hot crowd (not cruisy either) if I may say so. They had a DJ, but there was no rhyme or reason on the playlist side — it was all over the place and he was yawning most of the time… We stayed in CDMX for a week and had no interest in returning. Sadly, this seems to be the way in Mexico City. We went to a couple of other bars to check them out and they were charging a cover too — for us, it’s the principle — you go to bar to have a drink/s and have a good time. Why are they charging you extra for showing up — they should be happy to have you, especially if you fit/fitted the category of a ‘bear’, least of all one who has come from overseas to spend money in your city. It’s a bad strategy IMO. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the city — it’s a fascinating (and complex) place to visit…

The place is great, but it's not a good idea to go on a Saturday night. There are so many people that everyone is practically immobile, unable to move, like in the last car of the subway at rush hour 🧸

This is a great LBGTQ bar, more for the bears and the followers. Dancers, great beer prices and friendly staff.

It was good, it was my first time at this place, the atmosphere was great, the service was good and the music was excellent

Had a good time. The music is good. Way too loud for these old ears now, lol. Highlight was the handsome smiling man at the door!
