Local guides have named it as the city's main outdoor gay cruising spot for years, with activity after dark around the benches and kiosk. Treat current activity as unverified. The park is tolerated rather than official, and public indecency can bring fines or a night with the police. Late at night it is quiet and poorly lit, so keep valuables out of sight, stay where you can leave easily, and use an app taxi to get back.
