Hotel Hidalgo

Hotel Hidalgo sits in an 1825 colonial building on Calle Madero, just off Jardín Zenea. Google describes a relaxed, budget-to-mid-range hotel with a small restaurant and terrace, and it rates 4.4 from about 2,300 reviews, the most of any hotel in the Centro. Rooms are basic, but every square is a few minutes away on foot. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue; Maximiliano, the main gay cantina, is a short walk away in the Centro.
