4th visit to this wonderful property. Great location. Don't forget to look up to the SunStar Prism on My. Wilson. Complimentary breakfast was quite good. This quick stay gave us a brief experience of World CUP Buzz :)

This is located in a very nice area of Pasadena with lots to do within walking distance.

Here for a concert and loved everything from check in to check out! Location was perfect, pool was lovely, and great breakfast!

We stay at this hotel for our Universal Studios mini vacation and totally Loved our stay!!!!. Cleanliness was top notch!! Very nice outdoor space with pool and seating area (open until 10pm). Backdoor transitions seamlessly to the shopping plaza area. Hotel offers Parking for $35/night (you can also park across the street for $12/night) breakfast was amazing with many different options to choose from.

A very nice place in Old Town Pasadena local for everything close by. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very nice.

Great place to spend a night in Pasadena.

What a pleasant surprise for our 1st stay at Hyatt Place Pasadena! We must admit, the negative reviews raised our anxiety for our stay. First, we want to give Moni at front desk 5 ⭐️ because she listened to our concerns, picked a room that would give us the best chance for a restful stay, AND allowed us to check-in early. She also helped with parking and explained the complimentary breakfast. The room was as close to perfect as we could've asked for. I hesitate to share the room number as we may need to request it on future visits. Haha The room was quiet (some road noise which is to be expected due to location), the bed/seating both comfortable, A/C kept the room cool, shades darkened room well for sleeping, the bathroom was adequate with nice finishes (great shower), and thankfully, quiet neighbors. We wish the bathroom lights weren't automatic because middle-of-the-night visits can be disruptive to those sleeping. We also missed having lotion available but the shower items were lovely. The breakfast offered the typical variety of cereals, breads, hot items, and yogurt. The fresh fruits and toppings were excellent. Good, solid coffee, really nice selection of teas, several juices, and milk/non dairy options. We are a bit limited due to gluten-free, but overall, it would be good for most families. For gluten-free, highly recommend "Hello" which is a quick hop, skip, and jump. Superb selection of baked goods and coffees!!! The hotel itself is in an good location with plenty of opportunities to walk to restaurants and shops. Inside lobby is clean, quiet, and feels luxurious with ample seating areas, a cozy bar, and an elegant atmosphere. The pool area looks relaxing but no time for a dip this time around. And the fitness center has a great mix of equipment for a good workout after eating all those yummies at "Hello!" Haha We will definitely be back on future visits, hope to see Moni again (Thank you so much!!!), and certainly recommend Hyatt Place.

RACIST EMPLOYEES! Erika at the front desk refused me check in despite having a pre-paid reservation. When I asked her why, she refused to answer me at all and acted like a bratty teenager. I was too tired to deal with her nonsense and asked her to get her manager to which she shook her head and stormed off. At that point, I was done. I was just gonna call Hyatt the next morning and get a refund and everything sorted out. She came back as I was exiting the lobby and I heard her whisper to her little worker friend “Bye Blackie”. I am a black woman, so this was disgusting behavior and language to hear and see considering she was just awful and rude to me for 20 minutes prior. I called Hyatt the next day and got a full refund, an apology, and they said they would conduct an internal investigation. Don’t come here unless you wanna be disrespectful and belittled by terrible staff with egos that make them think they’re above you despite being the WORKERS.

Great location, but very loud with traffic noises nothing Hyatt can do about that though. There was an unrestrained dog wandering around the breakfast dining area. Staff didn’t do anything to stop it after being informed and allowed the guest to sit in the breakfast dining area with her dog unrestrained. Don’t stay here or at least skip breakfast if you don’t want a strange untrained dog coming to sniff at your breakfast plate..

A solid option to stay while in the Pasadena area. Facilities are acceptable. Could use a little TLC in the rooms. The walls are very thin. You can literally hear the next room opening and closing their blinds. The breakfast is solid option with the exception that guest bring their families in from the local area to eat a breakfast, leaving the guests with minimal options. Saw it several days while staying

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to my requests. I needed to check-in early and they were able to make it happen!

Stayed at this Hyatt a few times great location in downtown Pasadena, close to restaurants and shopping centers. Erika was especially helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
