Twenty Six

Twenty Six - almost always written simply as "26" for its address at 26 Allen Street - opened in 2023 in the space that was long home to Cathode Ray, one of Buffalo's most-loved gay bars. Run by former Cathode Ray staff, it carries that legacy forward as an LGBTQ+ party bar in the middle of the Allen Street strip, with a warm neighbourhood feel and a regular queer crowd. It is a good example of Allentown's post-pandemic revival.
