Outright Vermont

Outright Vermont is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ youth organizations in the United States, founded in Burlington in 1989. Based at 241 North Winooski Avenue in the Old North End, it provides support groups, drop-in space, advocacy and statewide programming for queer and trans young people (roughly ages 13-22), including its long-running Queer & Trans Youth Summit. For LGBTQ+ visitors and families, Outright is a reliable point of contact for Vermont's youth-focused resources and a visible anchor of Burlington's community network, with school-based programs and rural outposts reaching well beyond the city.
