Excellent quality of service and excellent breakfast, very friendly and professional

The reception lady was very kind and nice. It looks an old hotel, but it was comfy.

We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express Cake Coral. The rooms were clean. Check in was good and fast and thier coffee is good too. The breakfast was good as usual in any Holiday Inn. It matches the pictures shown. The pool we didn't used cause we were just staying overnight but is well taken care of. The location is perfect. No complaints at all. We're definitely staying here any time we travel in the area

I am writing regarding my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cape Coral–Fort Myers Area, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had. Within minutes of lying down in my bed, I began developing extremely itchy bites across my entire back, neck, and behind my ear. The reaction was immediate and continued until I reported the issue to the front desk. Based on the timing, the location of the bites, and the fact that I did not receive any additional bites after being moved to another room, I strongly believe I was exposed to bed bugs in the original room. I immediately notified the front desk, and Ricardo, who was working the night shift, handled the situation professionally and with compassion. He quickly relocated me to another room on a different floor. I greatly appreciate his efforts and the excellent customer service he provided. Unfortunately, because I was traveling with my infant, leaving the hotel in the middle of the night was not a safe or practical option, so accepting another room was my only choice. While I am grateful for Ricardo’s assistance, changing my room alone does not resolve the seriousness of this incident. I have been left covered in painful, intensely itchy bites that have caused significant discomfort and distress. As a loyal IHG Rewards member, I have stayed at Holiday Inn properties for years and have never experienced anything like this. This was completely unexpected and unacceptable. I am disappointed that I have not been contacted regarding any additional accommodations or a resolution. I respectfully request that this matter be taken seriously by hotel management. I expect the room to be thoroughly inspected and treated immediately to protect future guests, and I believe appropriate compensation should be provided for the discomfort, inconvenience, and impact this incident has had on my stay. I have always trusted the Holiday Inn brand, which is why this experience is so disappointing. I hope management will address this situation promptly and demonstrate the level of customer care that I have come to expect as a loyal guest.

We had a really nice stay! Our room was clean, the pool/pool area was amazing and breakfast was simple and delicious. Would highly recommended this hotel and will be booking again in the future. The location is perfect as well!
