It is about 7 minutes away from ESU ( East Stroudsburg University). It's nothing fancy but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a Dunkin Donuts shop attached so you have a nice place to get some coffee/food in the morning. I would definitely come back here if I didn't feel like driving home. Also, the lady at the reception desk was very nice and even changed my room so I didn't have to walk so far, I basically parked right outside my new room and walked out when it was time to leave. No need to check out at the desk, just leave the room key/card on the desk in your room and go.

AVOID THIS PLACE! 1. Mattress cover as you can see, is disgusting. They said either we clean it and cover it up ourselves OR they call the cleaning people who may not come since it was at night. They didn't have any other rooms available that night. Did I mention that this place doesn't have any extra mattress covers? The cleaners did come and they COVERED IT UP WITH A SHEET. That's what they told us, twice. Too cheap to afford new ones I see. They claimed to booking.com that they had rooms and we declined. LIE. They offered us a refund but it was 11pm in the middle of nowhere and we're not from around here. SAME night the wall thermostat didn't work so it was 65 degrees in the room. The manager came and it didn't work but the wall AC unit worked. So I'll give them that. Staff is unprofessional as they didn't even apologize for any of the inconveniences we've faced either. 2. We wanted a refund for the SECOND NIGHT. They didn't want us to get our money back as it's some policy. The person at the front desk didn't wanna give us her name but it was a young woman. She said we can contact booking.com to get help. They lied to booking.com. so they basically stole money from us. These people are so so cheap that the heat wasn't on when we came in the room. The TV and microwave wasn't plugged in either. Guess they wanna cut some corners. It was snowing and no one was shoveling or plowing so they couldn't buy a shovel either I guess. 3. Other poor reviews say very similar things as me and recently they've supposedly had bed bugs and trafficking issues so go somewhere else for your sake. These people are cheap, stubborn and will rob you if you put them in their place. 4. Their solutions to our issues were ridiculous. Solution one was a late checkout. Why would we want that?? We want to leave now. Doesn't make any sense. Solution two was a discount on our next stay. Why would I want to stay again? So that's ridiculous. Solution three was to MAYBE just MAYBE find a new mattress cover. Solution four was a new room. Who knows whats in those other rooms. They were no help and very unprofessional. You can't find any good work these days. Please take my word for it. The owners might even reply to this and say that they did what we asked and we were satisfied with them covering up those disgusting sheets and turning the heat back on. They covered up with a band aid and ripped us off instead of taking accountability. Didn't even apologize once. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. Ridiculous.

It was peaceful, your able to just relax and not have to worry much about anything

Excellent service from the front desk staff! The young lady at check-in and the gentleman at checkout were incredibly nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the property feels very outdated and is in need of some modernizing.

My husband and I both got bitten up by bedbugs at this property. I tried to contact them several times to remedy the situation and they ignored my callback requests for weeks. The hotel smelled musty and needed so many updates. But we have stayed at plenty of budget hotels and never in 30 years have I stayed somewhere so unsanitary that there were bed bugs. Disgusting.

House keeping should just do a more detailed cleaning. Lysol rooms out. First floor rooms are moldy. To much humidity in first floor room. Otherwise good for price. Quiet at night. Pool was good. Warm. Great places to eat, driving near by. Laundry dept... dryes don't dry completely your clothes. They are 4$. Quarters only.
