The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel

I recently stayed at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout my stay. Damian was kind enough to upgrade our room. The poolside bar manager Lear was attentive and made sure we had a steady flow of drinks. Eddie in valet even remembered us from last years stay. Some others who made our stay special; Molly and Eric from the bell stand, Tatiana and Itzya from the front desk. Overall the beachfront location and resort amenities made for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again.

Convenient, right across from the beach(although you do have to cross the street) Valet parking only and you are not allowed to use luggage carts with your own luggage(I think as to generate more tip for employees). There is 20 dollar a day parking at the beach nearly but you cannot park there overnight. Breakfast options included a take away place and a sit down place. I believe both had similar menus but the sit-down place was 5-8$ more for the same items. Pools were nice (heated) and water slides are available on one. There is a height restriction so we did not get to use them with our young kids. Overall one of the better hilton properties although I think the luggage cart situation was annoying and unnecessary.

Great staycation (evacuation staycation) and walking distance to the beach.

Pro Tip: Park across street ($20/day). Two-night stay would be 3 "days". Show reservation at entrance.

This hotel and its policies have been an absolute nightmare. There is currently a reported chemical gas leak issue, and we pleaded with the hotel to simply move our reservation from this weekend to another date. Because we booked through a third-party site, we were completely denied any flexibility or accommodation. To make matters worse, I was repeatedly criticized for not booking directly through Hilton instead of receiving any empathy or assistance. As a parent of a 3- and 5-year-old, I am not willing to risk exposing my children to any potential chemical issue, regardless of how many times staff insisted it was “perfectly safe.” We are now out $1,400 simply because we chose to prioritize our children’s health and safety. I even offered multiple times to pay an additional fee just to reschedule the stay, but was told “policy is policy.” For some families, losing $1,400 and a family vacation may not matter. For ours, it absolutely does. The lack of compassion, flexibility, and customer care was shocking. I would give this hotel zero stars if possible. I have since deleted my Hilton Honors account and will strongly discourage friends, family, and community members from staying at Hilton properties in the future. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

The hall where a wedding/reception was held was nice and spacious. The hall can be described as luxurious and very beautiful. I would absolutely highly recommend heading over here to visit and enjoy the city of Huntington Beach; I will be giving my experience a 5 out of 5 stars.
