Independence Pride 2027

Independence Pride is the city's own LGBTQ+ celebration, organised by the West iNd Connection (WiNc) inclusion center and held each June at the Englewood Arts District on the east side of Independence, Missouri. First held in 2023, the day-long event combines a Pride walk, an expo with local vendors and community groups, a free concert and a drag show, with proceeds supporting the WiNc center. It is a smaller, community-run alternative to Kansas City PrideFest, about 20 miles west.
