Took my elderly mom for a couple days. Bell desk had her scooter that I rented, plugged in and ready, and clearly labeled who it belonged to. The rooms in the north tower are newly renovated, 11th floor, and 9th floor. The were really nice, with walk in shower that had full body jets and hand wand. Makeup mirror with led lighting, good in room coffee pods. No drink machine that I saw on either floor, but I did see ice machines. I might have missed refreshments, maybe at other end of the hall? Unsure. No signage. Staff attitude was hit and miss, mostly miss. Fairly rude, no pleasantries, forced smile at best was rare. Craps table dealer at the small table was the rules I've ever seen or dealt with. He was a shorter white man with reddish blonde hair, guy would only accept $10 bets no matter where and how much you have already laid down, $10 momentum means you have to bet at least one $10 bet, then you can bet $1 on hardware or the horn, or a $5 come bet with $6 odds. This guy made everyone play $10 no matter what. Next dealer did not handle the table that way, he did it right. The second dealer was Hispanic with a beard, very quiet but ran the table correctly. Pit boss was right there and never stepped in to tell him to lightn his tone. Casino was pretty clean. Drink girls were not very good, most times never returning to us, not bothering to walk to the end of area they are running to see if anyone was there, not to mention, 30 minutes prior she brought us drinks to that very spot. Smh. Base from the music rattled the walls all night until around 245am is. North tower faces Fremont, can't see anything but can sure hear it, even on the 11th floor, bring ear plugs lol. Windows do a good job, but not fully sound proof lol. Miranda's was good food with lack luster service, more concerned about where they left their cell phone, standing in groups talking instead of revisiting the tables. Chicago brewery was abousolutely the best place in there, the guys were great, all of them checked on us, continously, the pizza was one of the best thin crust I have had in a very long time. Drinks were cold and never went dry. These guys are too notch, just stop for a drink at least, you will see how service should be. Plenty of machines to chose from, and dont heavily repeat same ones through out the casino, giving you a ton of slot options. Cheers to them for that. Slot cleaners seemed to be right on top of things, rarely a dirty ash tray on the machines, chairs pushed back in almost always, cheeks to the cleaning crew on that. Would stay again for sure, no resort fee, and free parking after validation, get a player's card and play $5, free, or stay there and its free. But cheap parking either way if your only using it to walk around and look. Great spot, middle of Fremont street , basically. I dont anticipate a change in attitude from the employees, im just more prepared for it now. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a very nice room, for cheaper than most all of them, excluding the couple of older casinos. Im not posting photos, there are plenty of them out there, lol.
