Rainbow Alliance of NEPA

The Rainbow Alliance is the leading LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization in Northeastern Pennsylvania, founded in 2004 and based in Wilkes-Barre. It operates the LGBT Center of NEPA — a community hub for support groups, social events, youth and senior programming, and health resources — and organizes the region's flagship celebration, NEPA PrideFest, held each June on Public Square in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Serving Luzerne, Lackawanna, and the surrounding counties, the Alliance is the central point of contact for LGBTQ+ community life across the Scranton–Wilkes-Barre area.
