על המקום הזה The Toolbox Bar
The Toolbox is a neighbourhood gay bar on Second Avenue near East 90th Street, one of the few gay bars on the Upper East Side. It is a small, unpretentious place with a regular local crowd, cheap happy-hour drinks and occasional entertainment nights, rated 4.5 from about 185 reviews.
Do not expect a Hell's Kitchen-style party; it is a place to have a drink and talk. The Q train at 86th Street is a short walk. Check social media for current hours and event nights.

We went here for karaoke night and although there wasn’t a huge crowd in that night, the bar seemed way nicer and fun compared to the others I’ve been to in a few other cities. Matzah Belle-Soup was friendly and hilarious which made the experience amazing. Without her it probably would’ve just been like a regular bar with gay people having drinks.
