(April 2026) We stayed in 3rd Quarter, and we were happy with the accommodations. Understand, as we did, that this a converted row house in the Manayunk area of Philadelphia, so there are limitations on the size of the rooms, but they were clean, well lit, and well appointed. And we had no problems with the room's temperature. The bed was slightly higher from the floor than ours at home, but nothing unusual. On-street parking is challenging, but we made it work, finding spots within 2 blocks of the property. The vending machine with breakfast sandwiches was empty, but we had not planned to use it, as there are bagel and coffee places only 2-3 blocks from the property. Only other issue, and it is minor, is that the bathroom, while private, did require us to have a key to access it. But it was immediately to the left of the room's exit, so we did not have any serious problems. Bathroom had a modern shower and a fog-resistant mirror, which we thought was a nice touch. Check-in with the provided access code was without incident. To emphasize, this is not a hotel, but it is a great room in a convenient location — 2 blocks up the hill from Main Street in Manayunk, and we plan to stay there again. Props to Neal and Mark for putting it together.

My wife and I spent the weekend staying in the 2nd Quarters room. The lobby was defer payed very fun and had a nice vibe. The vending machine had no food options. Our room was small but cute. The bathroom was quite nice. A few complaints would be the lack of a tv and the window didn’t have a curtain which made sleeping past 7 difficult. Overall the location was nice and we’d stay again.

Great place! We had some difficulties finding the check-in info thanks to a mix-up on the third-party booking site and they were prompt and clear communicators. The room was clean and perfect for our stay (including coffee and utensils available 24/7). Highly recommend.

It's refreshing to stay at a hotel where you feel like you live there. Perfect for the DIY audience who don't need a lot of hand holding. Lovely location, near Main Street, though parking is tight. Room set up is very homey. It's perfect for the weekend stay! Thank you to the gracious hosts who were only a text or phone call away!

We stayed in the top floor Quarters room. The location in Manayunk is great, very close to Main Street and shops/restaurants. The service was outstanding. Mark, the host, was very nice, answered all of our questions, and provided a lovely breakfast daily. The only part of our stay that was a bit of an issue was that there isn't a proper shower. It's a free-standing tub with a shower sprayer attached to the faucet. It was fine, but for an older person like me it was a bit of a challenge to get in and out of it. One other note, parking is scarce in that area.
