The staff is not nice
Disgusting, shitty, towny-town “gay bar “ if you have the chance to go… lose it. Passive-aggressive staff.
Hi my name is Rhonda. I visited Portland with my two gay best friends. When I first read the reviews of Blackstones, I was skeptical. So much drama on IDs, being drugged, and queer women! But our experience couldn’t have been more different. The staff was friendly, especially the bartender with a beard. It was a welcoming environment for everyone, including four legged friends (dogs). We throughly enjoyed our experience. Support small town gay bars! Protect queer art!
21. I am 33 now this was the bar I got my first drink at and I remember the bartender he was freaking awesome and also I would spend most of my youth in this bar mainly because I love the DJ. I love the owner. I miss being there. I just miss playing pool sitting in the corner of the room having a drink. It was so many good memories there Sometimes I wish I was still in Maine.
went in for a beer and got inappropriately touched by multiple people in the establishment
I’ve lived in Maine for a bit now and I’m disappointed in myself for not coming here sooner! Best bar tenders absolutely the nicest and efficient… I will definitely be coming back to this awesome place:)
