LGBT Center of Raleigh

The LGBT Center of Raleigh is the city's main LGBTQ+ community center. Since December 2025 it has been based at 128 E Cabarrus Street downtown. It runs a Transgender Initiative, youth and senior groups, support meetings, HIV testing referrals, a lending library and crisis resources. It also organizes Out! Raleigh Pride, the downtown street festival on Fayetteville Street. Drop-in hours are usually Wednesday to Saturday. Check lgbtcenterofraleigh.com for the current schedule and event calendar before visiting. Volunteers are welcome, and visitors can use the center to find local groups and events.
