Rodeway Inn Seattle Airport

A friend booked this place for the night as we were set to leave early the following morning and the airport is very close. We called ahead to see if we could drop off our luggage prior to check in and were curtly told yes and the call disconnected. We arrived around 12pm to drop off our luggage and the employee at the desk all but ignored us when we asked. After a little convincing, he agreed but told us to wait while he did something else. I waited around 40 minutes, using that time to find somewhere - anywhere - else to stay instead. We ended up staying at the hotel just next to it instead. While I was gathering our things to leave the lobby, the employee didn’t address me, ask if I was coming back, or anything. I didn’t see the rooms but if the lobby was any indication, they would surely have been abhorrent. The lobby was dingy, dim, and smelled of old smoke. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else. This place is a dump.

The ONLY redeeming thing about this place is that it is close to the airport. This place is pretty gross from the weed smell at check in to the worse musty odor in the room. From stained/ripped sheets to overall dirty condition of the room. I urge you to spend the extra $50-$100 and stay elsewhere. I feel I was bamboozled on the third party site I booked on for not giving a fair representation of the hotel. This place was disgusting

The reviews are right. It's an extremely outdated room. I didnt enjoy the experience at all. The television was old as well as the furniture. I dont understand the need for a deposit 😕. I hope they decide to put some money into it instead of just cash flowing it. I would say it boarders on one of the worst places i've stayed in. Pay an extra $30 dollars and get some joy and happiness staying somewhere else. I hope the owners read these comments.

It was supposed to be a non smoking room but smelled like smoke and really bad order. There was two towels and one of them was dirty! Very run down. There shuttle bus ONLY runs 7am-7pm and you have to give a day notice to get to the airport. 157.00 was way more than what this place was worth!

Considering the cleanliness, age of the property, and the surrounding atmosphere, long-term stays are not recommended. However, it is a place you should be grateful for, as it is within a 5-minute walk from the airport train station and within 15 minutes of the airport, and offers a place to stay for a night at an insane price of $60-$80 per night in the U.S. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby, so you can get simple snacks and water. Considering that an Uber ride from Seattle Airport to the city center costs over $60, this is practically the only place where you can stay for a night at the price of a typical U.S. taxi.

Extremely attentive and friendly staff! Comfortable accommodations. For those landing in Tacoma, the best value for money. They even have a shuttle service...

We love to travel and we been to different hotels but this hotel was the worst we have ever experienced. Stayed there for only almost 2hrs and left we can’t stay that long coz anything you see is pretty dirty and smelly. Lost our money! Not worth it! But the people works there is very approachable and friendly. I hope the owner can hire a good cleaner. Sorry!

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the check-in process was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well organized, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night, which made it easy to sleep. The location was very easy to get in and out to and also it is close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to get around. Overall, the service and atmosphere made the stay enjoyable, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I chose this hotel because it’s close to the airport — so close that I actually walked there. After a 17‑hour flight, walking was not my choice, but their last shuttle was at 6:30 PM. Agoda did not mention this anywhere when I booked.The price was cheap, and I only needed a place to sleep, so I wasn’t expecting luxury. But I also wasn’t expecting dirty bedsheets with stains. I don’t even want to imagine what they were from. It took me half an hour to figure out what I could safely sleep on.The internet was terrible. I couldn’t even complete a simple call home to say I arrived safely. Check‑out is at 11:00 AM, yet I received a reminder phone call at 10:20. Calling guests 40 minutes before check‑out is not what I consider good hospitality.Overall, you get what you pay for — but basic cleanliness and proper information should not be optional.

Strongly discourage staying here. Very affordable price and walking distance from airport. But damn was the mattress and sheets covered in bodily fluid stains and so was the carpet. Maybe I got a bad room but let the reviews speak for themselves.

I like sheets that are clean and intact. On the way back, I decided to take a different hotel after all.
