Antigone Books

Antigone Books has been Tucson's feminist bookshop since 1973 and sits at 411 N 4th Ave, a short walk from IBT's. It stocks a wide range of LGBTQ+ fiction, non-fiction, young adult and graphic novels, runs author events, and appears on national lists of queer-owned and queer-allied bookstores. It was a Publishers Weekly Bookstore of the Year finalist in 2024. Staff bought the shop in 2018 and still run it. It's a good daytime stop on a 4th Avenue walk. Google reviewers rate it 4.7 from nearly 900 reviews.
