We have loved staying at Wood Manor when we are in town for our daughter. It’s convenient, beautiful, and far more comfortable than a traditional hotel room. Highly recommend!

We had such a fabulous long weekend at Wood Manor. We rented out the whole house for a family event and it was perfect!! The house exceeded our expectations ! The house was beautiful with very nice amenities. The complimentary snacks, coffee, breakfast goodies were very much appreciated. It was so easy to communicate with the owners and they were very accommodating. Can’t say enough great things about our whole experience!

The location is 6 minutes to downtown of the campus. The hosts were gracious and very accommodating. Rooms were very classy. Almost don’t want to give a review because it’s the best kept secret in Tuscaloosa and keep it to myself. The owners deserve it however.

What a great Tuscaloosa property! This 3-story gem is 80 years old and wonderfully restored to be a welcoming departure from the usual AirBnb-type offering. The owners live there and welcome their guests personally as they share their home. Plenty of hot water, access to their kitchen for coffee & snacks…you feel like you are staying at a friend’s home…and you are. Plenty of privacy in your upstairs spacious suite. Fluffy towels, great beds. So much better than any hotel. You will love Wood Manor.

An absolutely love place to stay while your in Tuscaloosa

We had a great experience staying at Wood Manor this past Friday. The house is beautiful and our room was so relaxing. We met the owner and his dogs. He offered us great options for things to do around town. We thoroughly enjoyed the farmer's market on Saturday. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful house, and the rooms are outstanding. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and in a great location. The complimentary snacks were outstanding. Great ambience and feel to the place. Full kitchen, huge living room with big screen TV were great points. Will definitely be back! Thank you very much.

You have done a beautiful job with the manor in the way you have decorated while maintaining the charm and rich history that is obvious to a guest. In our past travels we've lodged in nice hotels, but Wood Manor is not a hotel. We've enjoyed bed and breakfasts but Wood manor is not a B&B. With full access to a spacious living room and modern kitchen, it felt like we reserved a home rather than a room. In fact the Queen's Garden we enjoyed with the oversized bedroom, adjacent sunroom and oversized bath seemed more like an apartment. We could not have been more pleased. Thanks for making our visit "Sweet Home Alabama".

We are a family of 5 driving through the countryside of the beautiful USA. We stumbled across this beautiful place. Highly recommend for a nice peaceful stay with lots of accommodations and the owners are so friendly. The Queens Garden room fit us all perfectly and the shower was my favorite! Just so pretty. The kitchen had coffee and tea and a perfect little breakfast bar for the kiddos. With fruit and oatmeal and yogurt and some pastries. We were only in the area for one night but did explore the University and ate at Ave Pub. Good burger and i enjoyed a salad and a cocktail. College town at its finest. Thank you Wood Manor for the welcoming stay.

Brenda and Al are exceptional hosts at Wood Manor Guest House in Tuscaloosa. This was our second stay, and their hospitality ensured an exceedingly comfortable experience. We eagerly anticipate future visits.
