Really fun! Finally could enjoy some fun time! Highly recommend!!
This is the only gay sauna in Fukuoka that allows men over 50 to enter. It's about a 20-minute walk from the station. The photo I took shows the outside (blue curtain). It opens at 2 PM and closes at 10 AM the following morning. The entrance fee is 2500 yen, and the receptionist was surprisingly an older woman! After putting away my shoes and getting a locker key, I was only provided with a yukata and a small towel. The shower area was cramped, and the bathwater didn't look very clean, so I didn't dare use it. There was only a Finnish dry sauna. The second and third floors are where people "play." On Saturday afternoon at 5 PM, most of the customers were 60 or older, with the occasional 40-50, all local Japanese. The beds were a bit messy, and with sweat and other bodily fluids from the sauna, I didn't dare sleep for too long. Whether it's fun or not depends on your luck. I thought it was just okay, but I probably wouldn't come again. Unless you're really frustrated and can't stand it anymore? It was an eye-opening experience. Of course, it can't be compared to Osaka or Tokyo. I think Fukuoka could have a decent large sauna catering to gay men of all ages.
The building is a little old, but the staff were friendly. I had a great time letting loose in the mixed room. I'd like to visit again when I go to Hakata.
