Bartender spiked my drink. Blond haired big watch wearing fella at the second bar as you walk in. On top of that he charged me $18 for a $12 cocktail. Do not come here, you are not safe

I was roofied by the bartender with short gray hair. Upon making it home after I promptly finished the second drink they made me…I was incredibly ill. I tried to lay down and started shaking like a leaf. I ended up passing out and don’t remember what happened after that. It wasn’t anything that I’ve ever experienced after drinking. Nobody except for the bartender had the opportunity to do something to my drink. I was distracted talking to a woman at the bar, so I didn’t see the bartender prepare my drink that time. I’m disgusted and beyond crushed that this is happening at what’s supposed to be such a space space. Below is the content I posted before I realized I was drugged: I’ve come here dozens of times since I’ve lived in SLC. It was one of my favorite queer spaces. I never had anything but wonderful interactions with the staff. From the door people, the bouncers, and the bartenders…everyone was just so friendly and welcoming. The bar always seemed to have such a good vibe. But after my visit last night, I probably won’t be back. The newer staff are sadly really unpleasant to deal with. The bartenders and security are so rude for no reason. The older AMAB bartender with short gray hair overcharged all of the drinks my partner and I paid for. We didn’t notice until we left. What we were charged wasn’t what was posted on the menu for the cocktails. Pay close attention to the prices listed on the menu and what your bartender enters into the computer. They are probably adding things on that you didn’t ask for or know about to get a higher percentage of your tips, too—because you don’t notice the difference. It’s so disappointing and dishonest. It hasn’t even been one or two unpleasant experiences here and there. My last four visits to the bar, I’ve dealt with someone on the clock being overly rude and snarky about nothing. It’s been sad to watch what used to feel like such a welcoming, warm, fun, and inclusive space turn into what feels soulless and uncomfortable because of the staff. The other patrons are also getting increasingly hard to deal with. If you don’t “look” queer enough to be there, there’s a chance that someone will try to shame you out of the bar and ruin your night. On the other hand, there are more and more straight people claiming our space, and that’s coming with more and more issues. This isn’t a hunting ground for straight men to try and land queer women. I was more than happy to support the now-unionized bar…but something is seriously wrong here. There are so many other awful reviews, and something big needs to change.

Im seriously doubting that the cocktails I ordered actually had alcohol in them! At no point did I order a virgin drink but im a super light weight and was completely sober when I left. I went with a group of friends with the intent to let loose and get a little drunk. I got my 1st drink and the bartender specifically said, "this drink is stronger than it tastes". I tried to trust her as I drank my drink that tasted like watered down sprite but I downed it and left absolutely nothing. I usually can't walk in a straight line after a shot or two and I rarely drink. My second drink tasted like straight syrup. And also had no effect at all. So I paid $20 for sprite and mixer? How disappointing! I will not be returning.

unfortunately there are way too many straight people now. you go up and tell them that they’re cute, and they get offended when they’re the ones at the first gay bar in utah lol. breaks my heart 💔

Drinks are way too expensive. Takes a bit of time to get service at the bar. Bathrooms are pretty dirty.

This place is ok the dance floor can be fun but honestly the staff ruins it completely. The bartender made a snarky comment when I went to pay my tab because I guess I didn’t spend enough money for her liking. The bouncer was also very rude at the end of the night there was still 45 minutes to closing and he was yelling at everyone to get out because he wanted to go home. Where do they find these people ?
