Mazzys is my favorite spot! I’m usually there once a week minimum for their awesome karaoke nights or a drag show. I was alone the first time I went and was immediately welcomed in by the owner, Cheyenne, and we spoke for a while! She’s curated such a lovely space for making friends, community, and even fun crafts about once a month. This bar feels like home, like the equivalent of the “Friends” café. It’s an incredibly inclusive, queer, accessible bar that you can have a great time at without breaking the bank or needing to trudge into the city. Bring cash (or hit the ATM in the back) and your best moves to hit the dance floor! Honorable mention to DJ Beck for making sure the music is always fantastic and every bartender for being watchful, safe, caring, and happy to chat. If you’re queer and need a spot to meet people of all walks of life, I could not recommend Mazzys enough.
Easily my favorite bar in the area; the staff are always so kind and welcoming, they always have fun events going on (drag shows, mixers, karaoke, and more), and are extremely affordable. Plus, as someone who personally cannot drink much (for medical reasons) they also have a great selection of mocktails! I've been coming to Mazzy's pretty regularly for a few months and always enjoy it, it's truly the perfect casual queer spot - which are few and far between in Westchester. There is genuinely something for everyone at Mazzy's and you will always have a great time! SUPPORT LOCAL QUEER + WOMAN OWNED BUSINESSES 🫶🏼🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🫶🏼
This is my go to spot when I go out! Everyone is super friendly and their events are so fun. It’s like a chill dive bar but with a really diverse crowd and special events/theme nights. People actually dress up for events which is great, and they always post on Instagram so you can find out what they’re doing. I usually go to their karaoke Tuesday or Open mic Thursday but I’ve also been to drag or live DJ nights on some weekends. Events are free or low cost and don’t start too late. They don’t serve food but you can bring food in. Or if you have a party they get food catered, and the prices and options are really good (and the food is good). I had my birthday there last year and they were so amazing and accommodating. They even let me pick the music. The bar isn’t huge but there’s a lot of seating, and space for dancing if you feel so inclined. Mixed drinks are on the sweet side like most places, but if you tell them what you want they’ll make it no problem. Reasonable prices too. I didn’t like a drink I ordered once and the bartender was really understanding and gave me something else. I think if you’re nice, people are nice back…Bring your friends or come and make new ones!
I have been coming here for several years and have never had a bad experience. I’ve always found the bartenders to be friendly and they’ve always greeted me kindly. The vibe is great, aesthetically it’s a cool place and they play good music. Their themed nights are awesome, and I especially love their drag nights and brunches. It is cash only, but there’s an ATM at the back if you need it. Like other people have said, there’s no kitchen but you can bring food in and there’s some good restaurants nearby to get from if you want. Overall easily one of my favorite places to hang out and get a drink. Also, the owner is very hands-on, frequently there overseeing everything and making sure everyone’s having a good time.
Amazing place. Everyone there is so friendly, the drinks are great and priced really well, and overall just a great experience. I went on a quieter night and had a great time so I can only imagine how much fun the event nights are
