Bearfest South Africa
Об этом событии
Bearfest South Africa is an annual event dedicated to the South African Bear community, typically held in early December. The event brings together bears, cubs, hairy guys, and their admirers for a weekend of fun, games, and social activities. It was first conceived in 2014 by Chris Taute as a way to create a dedicated space for the community in South Africa.
While the event has experienced hiatuses, it has consistently shown a strong community presence and a need for such gatherings. Past events have included quizzes, comedy performances, chilli-eating competitions, and 'Bere Sport' challenges. The weekend often concludes with a communal braai and themed parties.
Attendees can expect a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere with a focus on camaraderie and celebration. The event usually takes place at a resort venue outside of Pretoria, offering a weekend escape for the community. Specific dates for future events are typically announced closer to the time, but the early December timeframe is consistent.
