Azzurro Pod Hotel - Центральный Сидней

Absolutely disappointing hostel experience. We had to leave one night earlier and were told cancellations or changes were “impossible.” No understanding, no apology, and the online reception just kept repeating the same copy-paste answers. We then asked if we could at least leave our luggage there until the afternoon since our flight was at 5 PM. After a short walk, we came back and found another person in our already paid bed. So apparently cancellations are impossible, but double-booking paid beds is fine? The hygiene was also terrible: * Dirty bathrooms all the time * Hair everywhere * Mold in the shower * No shower separation, so the whole bathroom floor was flooded * No toilet paper for an entire day * Cleaning spray was empty the whole stay * Very uncomfortable beds Overall extremely unprofessional and unhygienic. Would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Love the location , right in the heart of Sydney Town, close to everywhere, and free Dinner . Also many good Asian restaurant and easy to catch the transportation because location in the centre next to Big station ( Train, metro, light rail, and bus ) and very helpful staff for online check in, thanks to John Paul who help me and make it super easy to check in before arrive

I really appreciate this small hostel (located a small walk through Belmore Park from Central). The area was a perfect one for busy budget travellers. Nice nearby cafes and tasty food options. Friendly area. The setup in this one is very small, not like other Azzurros in Sydney in the ads, but the (mostly young) people staying there were lovely. It was clean and fresh, beds simple - comfy. In-room and outside showers and toilets. Wifi and bedside plug. Impeccable bedding. The dinners (order before 4pm for 7pm) were simple, quietly presented and tasty. A vegetarian option too. The lockers fitted a carry on bag, with room, and there was a drawer for your general stuff. The staff were easy to contact once inside the front door. I mixed up my booking and they were very helpful, warm and friendly. Alona and Joana were two, but all were good, including the welcoming young man whose name I have lost. Bunk beds are not for everyone, but I found everyone was sensitive and respectful. I opted for a lower bunk (knee injury) others liked being up. Definitely value for money. Longer stays are even cheaper. No complaints at all. Very relaxed.

I booked this hostel as a solo traveler because breakfast was clearly included and still advertised on the website at the time of my stay. However, there was no breakfast available at all once I arrived. When I asked about it and mentioned that I had specifically paid for those included services. Communication afterwards was also very unhelpful. The hostel itself was also quite dirty overall and not very well maintained. Unfortunately, the whole experience felt disappointing and careless. I would not recommend staying here.

Great value for the price. There was a funny smell at the entrance but up in rooms fine. Breakfast not out on Sunday, maybe I didn't know where it was. I don't know if there was milk for my coffee. Nothing marked for guests in fridge.

Adrian was great in helping us answer questions and helping with check in! Very patient, welcoming and helpful!!

I corresponded with Mokey today. The Azzurrio hostels in Sydney are at beautiful locations and each very unique. The architecture is so beautiful. Sydney is a lovely place to visit. And the promotion sales encourage visitors to stay a little longer too. Thank you Mokey for your encouragement and information about your hostel venues. I really appreciate it.

Generally speaking is a good place to stay, they have good personal working and they answered all my questions Timely, preaty nice. MARJ
