I had no problems at all during entire process. They are also readily available by phone for any concerns. I really enjoyed my stay and upon checking out, Zarlee and Shella were very nice and professional. Thank you. Will definitely return if I find the opportunity.

Very good customer service! Great location! Both the bathrooms and rooms were a bit dirty and could use an upgrade. The bed was nice and had its own shelf, outlet and curtain! I was tempted to have the included dinner until I saw several cockroaches in the kitchen… Other than that it was a nice place and very affordable. Stayed two nights, had no problems with checking in and out.

Great long term backpackers. Great rates and delicious free dinner, which includes a healthy tasty soup then a main meal makes a huge difference to your budget over a week or two.
I stayed at Azzurro Pod Central for two months. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet. The rooms were always clean and tidy. Although the reception is virtual, the staff are available 24/7 through the app or via phone messages. The dinner wasn’t bad either.
We absolutely cannot recommend the Azzuro Pod Hotel at Haymarket in Sydney and would never book there again. We were shocked by the unsanitary conditions upon arrival. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos, but the conditions were truly appalling. The bathroom was completely flooded after every shower, as there was no partition between the shower and toilet. As a result, the entire floor was constantly wet, and dirt was everywhere. Hair was stuck everywhere – in the bathroom, on the floor, and even on some of the walls. Black mold was visible in the shower, and overall, it didn't feel like the place had been thoroughly cleaned recently. On the second day, there wasn't even any toilet paper. Cleaning supplies or anything else to at least clean ourselves were also unavailable. Everything seemed extremely neglected and unhygienic. The beds were also very uncomfortable. The mattress was too small for the bed frame and kept slipping. Sleeping was therefore hardly comfortable. In addition, we were extremely disappointed with the customer service. On our very first day, we politely inquired about a possible refund for the last night, as we unexpectedly had to leave early. We were immediately told that this was not possible. Although we didn't want to pay another cent for this accommodation, we accepted this since we had booked it ourselves. The absolute worst part, however, came on our departure day: Although we had paid for three nights and our booking hadn't been changed or adjusted, our bed was already occupied upon our return – even though our paid stay hadn't yet ended. We consider this an absolute outrage and disrespectful to paying guests. We would also like to mention that there is a restaurant right next to the hostel that regularly places tables and chairs directly in front of the entrance. This sometimes makes it almost impossible to get through the door properly. When exiting, you practically walk straight into people or bump into tables and chairs because guests are sitting right in front of the entrance. There is simply far too little space, which is unpleasant for both hotel guests and restaurant patrons. Especially with luggage or in a group, it quickly becomes an absolute nightmare. In addition, we would like to mention that there is a restaurant right next to the hostel that regularly places tables and chairs directly in front of the entrance. We are shocked by the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, and generally deplorable condition of this hostel. Definitely not recommended.
