Always love going to the Townie. Staff are friendly and always a great friendly crowd. As a single female I feel welcomed always.
The salad that comes with the steak has such perfectly crunchy almonds and a dressing well balanced in tartness and sweetness, whoever made it perfected the art of salads.
I ordered a pint of Hard Rated on tap. They poured me a pint that they “estimated to be 500ml” (full pint is 568ml) it was significantly less than a full pint - their retort was “because there’s no head, like there is on beer, it has to be less”. I questioned this and they kicked me out. Don’t sell pints then.
No different to any similar venue.
