The Beresford

The atmosphere was fantastic, the steak, fries, and pepper sauce were perfect, and the outdoor area was beautiful. It's a great place for small gatherings with friends. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place right in the heart of Surry Hills. Plenty of loos downstairs. Night club upstairs (I didn't go up there).

My second time here a security (I think as he randomly dragged me aside at 8pm) called Daniel randomly picked me and very sexually creepily asked me for a chat, then when I asked why, pretended he knew me and threw me out when I stated I had no idea who he was and was not interested. I asked why and he said he couldn’t offer any reason but last time I was there I spoke to him “badly”— after repeatedly stating I’d been there once before same day he just verbally aggressively pushed me out the door. The time I was there previously was two hours before and I didn’t speak to any security. This felt sexually aggressive and rude. I think management need to ensure they follow some standards in who they employ, if I can feel this way as a tall man, I dread to think the experience of others with this environment.

Bar staff pouring their own drinks for them selves. Dodgy place. How can this place be licenced.

Came here on a reccomendation for the beer garden but was somewhat disappointed, The beer on tap was OK

Service was poor, security was too intimidating and unprofessional.

The courtyard is the absolute best place to be when it’s sunny and with a fresh crispy cocktail or vino. Great happy hour prices throughout the week and just a fun space to be. Love the Beresford and will keep comin back. Have also had big group bookings here and it is perfect, easy to organise and a great space to have people around.

Love it here. Food is divine. Highly recommend the prawn linguine and the barramundi. Prawns dumplings and salt n pepper squid were good. Kids loved the margarita pizza and the cookies and cream ice cream was next level. Rum baba was quite nice also. Good happy hour drinks esp the house pinot noir.

Waited an hour for my steak to arrive for it to be over done. Everyone at the table finished eating by the time my steak arrived. Staff did not care or compensate for the bad service.

Luke the bartender was so helpful and kind. Lovey food and drinks.
