VERT Lagoon Netanya by AFI Hotels

VERT Lagoon is a newer AFI Hotels high-rise in south Netanya, next to Lagoon beach and the Ir Yamim towers rather than the old centre. It's the most-reviewed hotel in the city on Google (4.2 from about 5,700 reviews), and the Maree sky lounge on the 15th floor is in the same building. Expect a taxi or bus ride to Independence Square and the main promenade cafés. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. Netanya has no gay bar; the nearest are in Tel Aviv, about 27 minutes away by train.
