VERT Lagoon Netanya by AFI Hotels

Severe disappointment from the Vert Lagoon Hotel Netanya – from France videos for you to see for yourself! A family vacation that was supposed to be exciting and meaningful turned into a severe disappointment. My mother is in a nursing home, and it was a difficult effort to get permission to take her on vacation. It was a rare opportunity for us all to be together, and perhaps one of our last family vacations in full formation. In fact, we encountered cockroaches in my parents' accessible room, to the point that my father had to kill them himself. In my brother's room, there was a leak from the toilet, the entire room was flooded with water, and he had to leave the hotel at 6 am! The pool area was also unbearably crowded, with smokers, loud music and a market atmosphere, without sufficient intervention from the staff. Beyond the money we paid, the real pain is that such a meaningful family experience was ruined. We expected a minimum of cleanliness, maintenance and service, and we received a disappointing and frustrating experience. Water Lagoon, this is not the level of hospitality we expected to receive. We would not return or recommend the hotel after our experience.

We came for one night at the Vert Lagoon Hotel in Netanya. Already at noon, when we tried to rest, we discovered that the window in the room did not close all the way and was making noise, and we were unable to sleep soundly. We went to the reception and a technician was sent to us, but he said there was nothing that could be done. When we went to the reception again, we reached Ward Alber, the customer relations manager, and that's where everything changed. She came to the room herself, saw the problem and immediately showed a real desire to help. Even though the hotel was fully booked, she checked the available rooms and eventually moved us to a suite. A big thank you to Ved for the personal approach and solution. Thanks to her, the stay ended on a good note. Ved's service deserves every kind word.

Excellent hotel with magnificent sea views. The breakfast is very complete, varied, and plentiful, and the pool is spacious and superb. The facilities are impeccably clean. We especially want to highlight the attention of the reception staff, who were very professional and attentive, fulfilling all our requests. Without a doubt, a very satisfying experience and a highly recommended stay.

Adele from the spa improved our experience significantly, there is no denying it.

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast, large selection of salads, cheeses, excellent ravioli!!! Breads and more and more

The most shocking and difficult experience I've had in hotels in Israel to date! 1. The level of cleanliness and filth is not even at the level of a youth hostel. The pool floor was so dirty that when we entered, our eyes went dark. The floor around the pool was completely full of dirt and garbage, including on the tables. There are no waiters, no one to clean, and no one who cares. Beer glasses with cigarettes and discarded food boxes. 2. A bed with separated and clearly uncomfortable mattresses - I fell in the middle of the night between the mattresses! The pillows are disgusting, like a soup kitchen 3. I left details for the hotel manager to get back to me, and no one has gotten back to me until now. I've been to every possible hotel in Israel and I always book 5 stars - this is the first time in my life that I'm simply shocked and horrified by what I experienced with my partner.

I would like to thank all the staff, especially Vered Elbar, who made our stay unforgettable. The hotel is fantastic, I highly recommend it, and ask for Vered Elbar. I'll be booking for our next vacation. Aaron

Excellent hotel with wholehearted service! We really enjoyed our stay at the Wart Lagoon Netanya Hotel from the moment we entered the lobby we felt the pleasant atmosphere and the courteous and professional service. The entire staff was charming, helpful and available for any request. The room was cozy and clean, the room staff did an excellent job, and the food was simply excellent, varied, fresh and delicious, both at breakfast and lunch You can see that the entire staff works together and gives their soul to ensure that the guests are satisfied. From the lobby, through the reception, the room staff and the dining room, everyone was simply wonderful. Recommended hotel, stunning view. Thank you ♥️

A very disappointing experience, especially for such a significant event in our lives. We stayed at the hotel the day before our wedding, and rented no less than 6 rooms for two nights, expecting a pleasant, pampering and respectful experience for our special day. Unfortunately, the reality was very far from expectations. The treatment we received was disdainful and unprofessional, and the rooms were dirty. Even without expecting VIP treatment, we expected a minimum of service, cleanliness and consideration, especially when it comes to a couple coming to celebrate their wedding night. During our stay, we asked several times to speak with the person in charge, but the issue was not handled properly. Even when checking out, I left my contact information and was told that they would call me back, but so far I have not received a response. Our original plan was to extend our stay by another night, but following the experience we simply wanted to leave as quickly as possible, and in the end we booked a night at another hotel. This is a big disappointment, especially when it comes to moments that are supposed to be exciting and joyful and remain in the memory for the best. We have not experienced such a low level of service and such a lack of care in a long time. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone looking for proper service, cleanliness and respectful treatment. Beyond the disappointment with the stay itself, the behavior towards us after we contacted the issue only intensified the feeling that no one really cares about the guests' experience.

I arrived at the hotel with a friend the night before my wedding (a regular room, not a bridal suite) and booked a night stay on the day of the wedding itself. We received poor service throughout the entire vacation. They told me on the phone that I had booked a room and that we would receive something sweet in the room and a late check-out time. When I got to the reception, we received poor service. They didn't even say congratulations. They barely addressed my requests. When we got to the room, it was dirty and full of mosquitoes. We asked to change rooms, and it also smelled of cigarettes and mosquitoes. We changed rooms again. I'll mention that this was the night before my wedding. We finally got to the room, which was perfectly fine, after 3 changes. Of course, there was nothing sweet or a blessing waiting in the room. I let go of that early in the morning. We arrived at the married couple's room. The groom and I received 3 apples and a pear in a basket... In the morning, I called the reception and tried to get someone from the service to ask for a meal in the room, some kind of response, or a late check-out. They told me that this was not specified in our reservation. I spoke to a customer service representative and shared my experience, and she said they would get back to me with an appropriate response - of course, she hasn't gotten back to me to this day. The most pleasant service we received was that we arrived at the dining room just as it was closing because we got up late after the wedding. I told the manager there that we were after a wedding and didn't have time, and he gave us a dairy meal at the hotel as a gift.

I wanted to share and wholeheartedly recommend the Vert Lagoon Hotel in Netanya. I have stayed at the hotel several times, and every time I enjoy a perfect experience. The service is high-level, the food is varied, delicious and abundant, the cleanliness is meticulous, the atmosphere is pleasant and luxurious, and the pool is simply wonderful. I would like to dedicate a special thank you to the customer service manager, Vered Alber. She is an amazing woman, exceptionally helpful, thorough, professional, patient and always smiling. Unfortunately, you don't meet many people today who give service from the heart like Vered. She provides personal attention, genuine care and a feeling that every guest is important to her. Vered, I have no words to thank you for the amazing service and the wonderful experience you provide. Good luck and continue to be just as you are. I highly recommend the Vert Lagoon Hotel, and I have no doubt that I will return to stay there again.
