Excellent service and rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room is. Able to fit 4-5 pax comfortably, it comes with a washing machine and light cooking is possible. Rooftop is open until 9pm and you can enjoy the beautiful skyline of Tokyo. A quiet neighbourhood which I would love to stay again. It’s more than 10 min walk away to the terminal and train station.

The hotel is well-appointed and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Although it has gradually deteriorated over the years, it is still beautiful. The welcome drink of wine is also delicious. The hotel is spacious and relaxing, so I'm glad I stayed here.

Spacious room is hard to find in Tokyo central area. Some may say the location is not optimal, but I enjoy walking 10 to 15 mins to subway stations and restaurants in the old part of the city.

Had planned a trip to Japan with my family. Chose this hotel because of good reviews. Two days before our flight I was rushed to the hospital, experienced severe trauma. To this day my back and leg are not well still. Was in surgery for several hours. My kids try to cancel hotels and contact all properties during that time and of course I texted all of them after. With apologies, explanations and all hospital documents send. All of the hotels were understanding and didn’t charge us and asked about my well being. Except this one. I contacted them via booking, email, I have send copies of documents to booking and they contacted Ulu as well. I was late with cancelling this one for free by 2 hours. 2 hours after free cancelation :) and I begged, I told them that I can’t handle hotel expenses for unhappened trip, I even asked to postpone our dates for my kids being able to travel with another caregiver in a month or two if I am not able, etc., but they didn’t care. And they even added no show fee on top of that. They refused to cancel and added no show fee. I even asked booking.com if that’s normal when such serious medical issues occur. And they told me it’s very rare and support person was a bit surprised too. Maybe because he saw the seriousness of documents send. Owner of the hotel texted me that he will not cancel for free (I was late by 2 hours, because I was in surgery at the time). I asked ~7 times while they kept charging my card. So here you go. This is my experience which happened in the first days of November. While I was suffering unbearable pain and expenses in hospitals, this hotel just coldly replied that it’s not their problem. It might be one of the best rated hotels that I have booked, but it’s the only one of 6 which didn’t and will not care if you will experience any medical ir other event and can’t travel.

It was very clean and professionally managed. I’d stay here again.

Our high floor elevator + stairs accessible room was well equipped, clean and spacious and accommodated my group of 3 comfortably. Only downside was the lid to the automatic toilet was faulty (would slam down if left up, annoying over night) and the seating at the TV was a little "tired". But these were small things when looking at the location : great views of the Sumida River, quite, easily accessible, friendly helpful reception team, roof top area. We enjoyed the whole stay and Tokyo itself!

We have nothing but praise for it. The roof terrace was fantastic to enjoy after a day in Tokyo's wild life. It's quiet and close to the Metro and a wine bar. Look at the river life with fish and boats while eating breakfast on your own terrace. A/C, full kitchen and good beds. 3 pillows to choose from in EACH bed. If it weren't so far from Denmark I would come every day. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
