Yes this place actually exists and is real! Go!
It is somewhat shabby, but despite that I had a thoroughly entertaining evening here last week. There are probably 10-12 dancers and two wait staff and two very cute dogs and of course the owner. The dances are nearly always performed solo and every so often all performers come onto stage presumably so that you can select one or more of them to join you for a drink. Drink prices are reasonable, but are 350php for a “Performer Drink”. As I found out, that soon adds up! Special shout out to Jonny. He was the first performer and I was the first punter. After a couple of “Performer Drinks” he asked me what my favourite song was, and I told him. Hint: it’s a ballad. And it’s by a singer-songwriter whose rhyming slang would be “Sick Dave”. I am avoiding naming him so as to not bring down copyright infringement hell… Anyway, next thing I know Jonny appears on stage wearing not very much at all and performing an exotic dance to my fave song. Would never have thought it possible if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. It was an expensive evening, but well worth it. The hangover was particularly noteworthy.
