Nice bar, Very mixed crowd,some of the bartenders are very nice but one not too friendly with foreign tourists.

The guys won't understand. I don't recommend it. The cocktails are too sweet, there are no sours, the music is too loud, but they do have good rum.

When a wannabe security guard ruins an evening... The four of us arrived on Friday, shortly after the bar opened. Unfortunately, we were the only customers for almost an hour. So we decided to grab a bite to eat and come back later. Even though the prices were a bit higher than in other places, we felt quite comfortable and made a good profit. After eating, about two hours later, we wanted to go back to the Hello Bar. However, a young, arrogant wannabe security guard wanted to subject us to an airport-style security check/body search/pat-down. We refused, and he wasn't interested in the fact that we had already made a good profit before he started working. So we found another bar where we were greeted and served very kindly without any security check. Guys, I'm almost 50, travel constantly for work, and know gay bars all over the world... but I've never experienced anything like what happened at the Hello Bar and described above! Waiter 5* Bar 3* (small, rather uncomfortable) Drink prices 3* (more expensive than in other bars, but still OK) Security -10* (what does this milk-faced kid even want? If someone is really supposed to be responsible for security here, then hire a proper bouncer...) Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place!!! It's sad when the owner doesn't take criticism seriously and you get dismissive and derogatory replies here... Apparently, I'm not the only one whose negative reviews are then commented on in a spiteful way. No, there will be no apology; it reflects reality... Tallinn will definitely see me again, but the Hello Bar definitely won't....

Expensive like every other bar in Tallinn but the vibes are amazing the drinks are fun. If you wanna go to bar go there!!!!

Lovely queer space in central Tallinn, would encourage any LGBTQ people in Tallinn to drop in for a drink (non-alcoholic gin available too!). Friendly place too, other patrons were happy to chat etc even though we only went there two nights!

It’s quite small, but has a dance floor and seating downstairs. I can see it being a fun place during weekends. The drinks were on the cheaper side considering that it’s located in the old town.

I just want to share my honest experience in the most transparent way possible, without making anyone feel judged or triggered in an ego-defensive way. I recently visited Hello Bar in Tallinn. Even though it’s known as an LGBT-friendly bar, the atmosphere felt open and welcoming to everyone, which I genuinely appreciated. The place isn’t very spacious, but to me it added a cozy feeling, and the lighting on the floor gave the bar a fun and unique vibe. The drinks were reasonably priced for the area, not cheap but not overly expensive either. Considering the location, the pricing felt normal and understandable. The music was a nice mix of older and newer songs, which kept the atmosphere lively. There were a few moments when the playlist didn’t completely match the energy of the crowd from my point of view, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, I had a good time at Hello Bar. Everything I’m sharing is simply based on my personal impression, not to criticize or expect perfection. Every place has room to grow, and I can see the effort they put into creating a friendly and inclusive environment. I’d still recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and welcoming night out in Tallinn.
