Traveled for work. Excellent service, and above all, a fantastic location. Quiet, yet peaceful. I would gladly return.

My reservation was cancelled without warning! It was a gift for my parents, and they arrived at a full hotel that had no rooms available for them! They don't have smartphones, so I was left searching for an alternative place to stay for them, even though I just gave birth! I didn't receive any emails, not even in my text messages, no texts or voicemails to inform me of the cancellation!

Excellent location and staff service. The room was adequate and, although there was ongoing renovations, they didn't cause any problems during our visit.

Honestly, what a disastrous experience! And I'm being kind!! My wife and I stayed at this hotel during a period of renovations, without any prior warning—a truly unpleasant surprise upon arrival. There was simply no one at reception, only an automated kiosk… which was of no help whatsoever. Nothing was clear. Even worse: the hotel access code was the same as the room code. In other words, all guests potentially had access to our room, which posed a serious security risk. To reach our room, we had to squeeze past the construction workers who were painting. Once there, we encountered another disappointment: the toilet was almost completely blocked, with an abnormally high water level. It was impossible to report the problem to reception since there was still no one there. So we called the main switchboard. Someone came to investigate, but assured us everything was normal… It was only after insistence that they acknowledged the problem and promised to return with a drain cleaner—a product we never saw. Despite several subsequent encounters with this person, no action was taken. As if that weren't enough, it was impossible to get a peaceful rest: a worker was working right outside our window, on scaffolding, even throwing rubble onto our window and the terrace of the bar below the hotel. Noise, dust, a complete lack of privacy… a true nightmare. Luckily, our stay was only 24 hours, because another night in those conditions would have been unbearable. While repairs may be necessary, charging nearly €100 a night without warning of the disturbances is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment. At that price, it's better to go a little further and find a decent hotel, with a minimum of service and consideration for its customers.

I had such a wonderful stay. Owner was incredibly accommodating. Check-in and check out was a breeze and seriously couldnt have asked for a better location

The hotel is very well located in the city center, next to the main pedestrian street, Rue Sainte-Catherine, on a quiet side street. The welcome was professional and friendly. We will return.

The location is unbeatable. Perfect for visiting the city. It's a bit dated (they're remodeling it), but the bed and linens are so good you forget about that. Very good.

A terrible experience at the Hôtel du Théâtre Bordeaux. A member of my family stayed there recently, and the experience was disastrous. Customer service is nonexistent: no response despite several attempts to contact them, and often no receptionist available. The owners dare to claim there is customer service, but it's a blatant lie. The room was in a deplorable state, clearly not up to the price paid. It was impossible to even open the window, which made the stay even more unpleasant. All this for around €200, which is completely unjustified given the poor quality of service. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.
