The place is nice, the bar staff are good, but the DJ is awful. He's the one who makes you want to leave. An elevator has better music. I don't know if the intention is to make you leave quickly, but that's what the DJ does. Please change him; the place is too nice to have such bad music.

🚫 Totally disappointing – For God's sake, never go there again! 🚫 I was at Große Freiheit 114 around 1 a.m. on Friday and all I can say is: save yourself the trouble! It was a complete and utter disappointment. 🤢 Disgusting air: The place is more like a huge, smoky smoking area than a bar. The air is so incredibly disgusting, stuffy, and full of cold, stale smoke that you have to jump in the shower immediately afterward. The ventilation is a complete disaster and an absolute disgrace. 👫 Crowd & atmosphere: The front area was well-attended, but with a huge proportion of women. If you're looking for a real "men's vibe," this is the place for you. 🗣️ Darkroom disaster: In the back, there were lots of women just standing around chatting loudly. There was absolutely no sexual atmosphere for the men. It was more like a coffee klatch in the dark than a darkroom – a total waste of time for me. 💳 Payment: Attention – cash is no longer accepted! Drinks can only be paid for by card, which simply feels out of place in this setting. Conclusion: If you value breathing room, a genuine men's concept, and a normal bar atmosphere: Avoid this place! 🚩 I will definitely never go there again.

Great. Nice bar, nice people and drinks. It gets crowded from 9 am onwards. Non-smokers will have a hard time then. Card payments only.

One of my favourite bars in town, especially after the renovation! There are queer events like Quiz, Bingo and DJ Nights as well as really well made cocktails! Sending love to the whole team!

WOW - this has truly become our regular spot, it feels so comfortable, and the crowd is a great mix of people!! Everything is just perfect: delicious drinks, fair prices, and the various entertainment options really make the evening enjoyable. There's dancing too, and those who like adventure can find their way to the darkroom. It's really lively even during the week!! Thanks and kisses to the staff!

According to your website, you describe "Freiheit" as "Queer & Friends," a safer space for diversity, and a place where everyone should feel welcome—including newcomers and those simply curious to drop by. Unfortunately, my experience this Saturday evening did not reflect these values. I was refused entry without any explanation, even though I behaved respectfully and simply wanted to check out the space. Without an explanation, it's hard not to wonder whether appearance, clothing, or perceived background might have played a role. In a space that calls itself open, diverse, and inclusive, such doubts shouldn't even arise. If diversity and safer space are part of your identity, these values ​​should be reflected not only in your marketing but also in how you treat people at the door. A more transparent entry policy would help prevent such experiences. Thank you.
