Flaucher (Isar River Cruising)

The Flaucher is a long-standing gravel-bank and woodland stretch along the Isar River in the Untergiesing-Harlaching area, well known in Munich's gay community as an outdoor nudist (FKK) and cruising spot. Activity is seasonal and concentrated on warm-weather days and summer evenings, when the islands and riverside meadows draw sunbathers and cruisers. It is a public, long-tolerated area rather than an official venue. Discretion is expected: the site is shared with families and general nudists, so cruising happens away from the main beaches, in the tree-lined sections. Standard German public-decency law applies. Reach it via the Flaucher / Thalkirchen area; U-Bahn Thalkirchen (U3) is the nearest station.
