The Flaucher is a stretch of gravel banks, small islands and riverside woodland along the Isar in south Munich, between Untergiesing and Thalkirchen. It is a popular public park with families, barbecues and swimmers, and parts are used as a nudist (FKK) area. Gay men have long cruised the wooded sections away from the main beaches.
Activity is seasonal: warm afternoons and summer evenings, with little going on in winter. It is a public space shared with everyone, so keep anything explicit well away from the paths and beaches, and respect people who are only there to sunbathe. The nearest U-Bahn is Thalkirchen (U3), and the Flaucher is also an easy bike ride along the river from the city centre.
