Cheap wine, otherwise nothing going on. I can't confirm the positive reviews from previous reviewers; perhaps I was there at the wrong time. I was there in May 2025 and just wanted to grab a coffee while passing by. The tavern was open, but coffee wasn't available, so I ordered wine and water. The wine arrived immediately, but I ordered the water by phone, and it came after ten minutes. So, at the moment, all I can say is: it's dead quiet. Maybe it'll pick up again someday. Dear Team, "Cheap" in German doesn't necessarily mean "bad"; it also means "low price." That's actually a good thing. If only the place were a bit more appealing. And coffee and mineral water shouldn't even need mentioning.

A pleasant surprise. Passing through, we enjoyed a peaceful break in an authentic setting. The food is simple, hearty, and delicious. The hosts are very kind.

We didn't expect such a delicious meal. The owner surprised us with her culinary skills.

Great location, but the rooms are extremely basic. We only paid €42. But it's not worth any more than that... hard beds, cold water...

A lovely little tavern nestled in the mountains. Very attentive service, great view. We only stopped for a short break and a drink.

Great location for the Psiloritis hike. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the lock on the toilet door; it wouldn't open. The lock was jammed. I informed the landlady. Unfortunately, it took a full minute for the hot water to come through.

The restaurant is excellent, the accommodation is quite basic.

Very authentic, sooo friendly people and good food! The rooms are old but you have good space and its clean. If you don’t like that go and book a all-inclusive resort! It’s a place to hike and to enjoy the mountains of Crete!

A super nice and welcoming tavern. The rooms are perhaps a bit basic, but they absolutely serve their purpose. The tavern is the highlight. The food is excellent, and the owners are friendly. We chatted for a long time, and afterward, they even gave us a complimentary bottle of schnapps. The value for money is unbeatable.
