Diverse Youth Network (Pécs Pride)

Diverse Youth Network (Diverz Ifjúsági Hálózat) is a Pécs-based NGO that grew out of the University of Pécs and works with Roma, LGBTQ+ and other marginalised young people. Since 2021 it has organised Pécs Pride, the only Pride march in Hungary outside Budapest, and the week-long human-rights festival that comes before it. In 2025 police banned the march under the new assembly law; it went ahead as a court-approved alternative event and charges against the organiser were later dropped. The 2026 march on 12 September went ahead normally. There's no public drop-in office, so contact it through its website or Instagram.
