De Trut

My experience at De Trut has been deeply painful. After being questioned about my origins, I was falsely accused without any evidence or CCTV proof. This injustice has severely impacted my mental health, leading to depression and chronic insomnia. Despite respecting a one-year ban and following their own procedure for reinstatement, I was denied without valid justification. It is heartbreaking that a space claiming to be ‘safe’ practices such exclusion. I am sharing this so that others are aware of the treatment I received and the lack of fairness in their process.

We were just trying to have some fun with our friends, they wouldn't let us in because we didn't appear "queer enough". Very rude, not at all inclusive.

It’s bad that they Don’t let you in because you Don’t look queer, even if you are with gay and bi friends. Very rude and non-inclusive vibes

Me and my friend (18 and 17) heard that this place was 16+ which it also says on their website. We got all dolled up and waited in line for 30 minutes just to be sent away at the door because apparently this place is 18+. Please update the age requirement on the website to prevent situations like this from happening in the future.
