Oosterpark

This is a wonderful park to escape the city. There is ample space for walking, running or exercising in nature. Dog friendly too. There are plenty of water elements, sculptures and places to sit. Dog friendly too.

This big park is near where we once lived, so it was nice to come back to here and sit on a bench. Lots of recreation here, and it's a good place for a picnic. Not for us on this day as it was quite cold. Come back in the sun.

Pleasant park with water feature, spacious lawns, old trees, sculptures ('the scream' by Jeroen Henneman). Two hotels with terraces on the edges. On a sunny day there is plenty of recreation here.

The location of our hotel (Arena) for our 4 night stay, this is a lovely green space, but with ponds which are visited by herons (spotted) and the like. Apart from the numerous pathways, there is a tennis court and boules pitch (free) and children's adventure playground. The park is also used for yoga and similar activities. It was a real bonus to us to find this lovely park on our doorstep.

Stayed close by so thought we do a lap of the park! You can tell that it has been upgraded / renovated / refurbished but there seemed to a few police vans driving around coupled with groups of men hanging around. So not a great vibe 🤔 Lots of cyclists and runners but also put off by many dogs running around and doing their business on the grass when clearly it was not going to be picked up. Good job I’ve not got children as I would keep them in the playground and on the path 😳

Great renovated park! Good vibes, a nice mix of trees m. And the only park in Amsterdam where it’s allowed to light up your bbq!

Great park for a Sunday walk- nice lake and very pretty corners. Interesting peaceful corner of Amsterdam.

Scenic park with great paths and walking routes - stunning in all seasons - always peaceful no matter how busy it is too!

This is a fantastic free park! Our kids loved it. We also used our bikes around it! Beautiful and very clean.

It has been too long that we didn't take a walk in this park after the renovation. It's now more comfortable, cleaner and well-arranged. There is more sculpture. The playground are bigger. It is very relax to be in this park. Two ice cream vendors were cycling around to offer their products. There is always something to see. This time the fire brigade was busy showing their stuff for making a picture of their department.
